During wrestling practice Evan went to break a fall but instead ended up breaking two bones in his left arm. After x-rays confirming the break which you could clearly see from the look of his arm they sedated him so they could re-set the bones and put on his temporary cast. The entire time we were there I only saw tears once and that was because he realized he may miss the ice cream party his class earned at school! After getting his new red cast and sling he asked, "Mom does this look cool." I think he is getting a kick out of the extra attention from his friends. He is a pretty tough guy and it will be difficult to keep him from being too active while he heals. We are hoping for about 4-5 weeks in the cast.
